Bayowet® perfluoroorganic compounds

Bayowet ® * Fluorosurfactants are highly effective wetting agents based on perfluoroctane sulfonic acid derivatives. They are characterized by their chemical and thermal stability and are used as spray mist inhibitors in pickling and galvanizing baths, as wetting agents and flow promoters in coatings, and in the coating of photographic papers and films.

The perfluoroalkyl sulfonate Bayowet ® C4 has an outstanding thermal stability and is used as an additive in the flame-retardant treatment of polycarbonates.
